About the Role: Student Consultant
We are seeking a dedicated Student Consultant to join our Colombo office. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and student success, and who enjoys providing one-on-one support and tailored advice.
As a Student Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students. Your job is to guide them through choosing the right study destination, course, and institution, and to support them throughout the application and visa process.
This is a full-time role based in Colombo, with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement., ideal for individuals who want to build a long-term career in the education consultancy field.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in education consultancy, counselling, or international student recruitment
- Knowledge of university admissions and visa application processes
- Excellent communication skills in Sinhala and English (Tamil is a plus)
- A friendly, student-focused approach with a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students on study options abroad, based on their academic and career goals
- Provide step-by-step support with university applications and documentation
- Assist students with visa guidance and application preparation
- Maintain ongoing communication with students and parents
- Track application progress and follow up regularly to ensure a smooth process
- Maintain accurate records and stay updated on institution policies and visa regulations
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Sound knowledge of international education systems (GS & GTE Requirements, SoP formatting, etc.)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital communication tools
- A professional and positive attitude with a passion for helping students succeed
