As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Business Development Associate who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving growth.
About the Role - Business Development Associate
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys networking, understands the Sri Lankan student mindset, and is motivated to meet and exceed targets. You will represent ONE100 Consultants in outreach efforts, build partnerships, and work closely with our counselling team to convert leads into long-term clients.
This is a full-time or a part time position which can be done remotely.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong skills in sales, marketing, and negotiation
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Sinhala and English
- A goal-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed targets
- Experience or knowledge in the study abroad or education consultancy sector is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, outreach, and networking
- Connect with potential clients including school leavers, undergraduates, and students at private institutes (IELTS, foundation programs, etc.)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and referral networks
- Develop and execute outreach strategies, including presentations, events, and digital campaigns
- Collaborate with our counselling team to ensure smooth lead-to-enrolment conversions
Professional Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or marketing (preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with digital communication platforms
- Well-organised with strong follow-up and client relationship skills
- Professional, self-motivated, and results-driven
